About the Brand
Zuahaza is a social enterprise founded by Tatiana Ordoñez in 2019 in Bogota, Colombia which produces organic naturally dyed cotton textiles handwoven by women artisans. Their brand name means “my sister” in the Muisca language of the people who lived in the Cundiboyacense mountain region of Colombia.
Zuahaza strives to connect women from across Colombia, and to create unique products that reflect their diversity, history and dreams as statements of the unity and peace to come from Colombia.
Sustainability Practices
Every purchase goes to support increasing the wage of women in rural villages in Colombia through their artisan cooperative.
